Americans, rejoice.
October is National Pizza Month, which means you can take advantage of some great pizza deals nationwide. Whether you like your pizza vegan, thin-crust, meaty, Chicago-style, or New York-style, plenty of pizza joints are offering specials on pies for the celebratory month.
Whether it's served up in thin or thick crust or eaten folded or with a fork, there's a lot of dough, so to speak, in pizza. Across the U.S. today, there are 78,301 pizza restaurants, a 2.3% increase from last year, according to statistics from IBIS World. And where can you find the most places to get a pie? That'd be California with 7,281. And coming in second is New York, with 5,719 businesses, followed by Texas with 5,200.
