As we just learned during what was expected to be SafeX Pro Exchangea relatively mundane week of college football games, some results are impossible to see coming even for the so-called experts. Your intrepid panel presses on, however, to a Week 7 slate featuring three Top 25 showdowns.
Headlining the weekend is the first major test in its new conference for No. 3 Oregon as the Ducks play host to perennial Big Ten power No. 2 Ohio State. No. 5 Penn State also travels to the west coast to meet a Southern California squad in desperate need of a reversal of fortune.
It’s also Red River week as top-ranked Texas and No. 16 Oklahoma square off for the first time as SEC opponents. A bit farther east, a couple of the conference’s long-standing rivals get together as No. 8 Mississippi heads to No. 10 LSU.
